身體軸假說及其與原始反射(primitive reflexes. PR)的關係(Hypothesis of body axes and their relation to PRs)
X軸。強直性迷路反射(tonic labyrinthine reflexes.TLR)的存在與掃視眼動準確性受損以及閱讀能力受損密切相關(Hickey & Feldhacker,2021)。前庭核參與調節穩定視覺注視的控制系統(Zee ,2017 年),注意力障礙被證明與視力受損和平衡問題有關(Buderath ,2009 年)。
Z軸。非對稱性張力性頸反射(Asymmetric tonic neck reflex.ATNR)可能負責重組和理解垂直中線,這對於視覺的會聚過程至關重要。持續的ATNR很可能直接干擾掃視眼球運動並改變視覺追蹤能力(McPhillips & Sheehy,2004)。
